One month and counting to my first BRUUCCCE show. I can hardly stand it.
Mannnnnn I was at past 17th July 2008 show here in Madrid and it was FUCKING AWESOME, one of the best shows ever I attended. Even better than Santana, Sting, Red Hot Chili Peppers... And all this considering that I'm not a die-hard fan of The Boss... But it was awesome. Three (THREE!!!) hours of awesome music, and the show finished with... Twist And Shout from The Beatles!! I thought I wanted to die right there. Best show ending ever
I saw him earlier this year up in Charlottesville, and it was AMAZING!! You my friend, are going to see a great show, I can promise you that!
The shows are improving day after day, night after night. The tour began as almost intimate shows, with 8.000 poeple in a USA arena singing quietly to a sat-down Bruce, and now shows are ONE whole hour longer than past september, with over 25 songs every night, surprises on the setlists, a band on fire and crazy audiences every night. Awesome

This is what I like to hear. I have been followning his setlists in Europe, and I love that he changes it up so much. I am glad that I have no idea what I'm going to hear. There are about a dozen or so songs that would make my night, and from the looks of it I may hear four or five of them. I just won't know which ones or when in the show to expect them. Did anyone see Bruce on 60 minutes last night. It was a repeat, but a cool feature.

By the way, closing with Twist And Shout is one of the best things I ever saw, and I've attendedmany concerts. It was AWESOME
Saw him last Sat, and it was amazing. Seems like they know it could be thier last tour and are clearing out all of the oldies. They played Then (S)he Kissed Me as an opener. You may remember that from Goodfellas. Just a great night.

Glad you had a great time there! Sounds good!!! Give more details! Took any pics? BTW agree on that; they seem to know this will probably be their last tour (at least the last E St Band tour) and they're bringing up some oldies-goldies in order to make this final tour their best ever And they've made it IMO
It was my first show.I don't have pictures, sadly. He played a 9 song encore!!! It included Jungleland, Thunder Road and Little Queenie, a Chuck Berry cover. We get a lot of Chuck Berry covers in STL, but it's always welcome. The show was delayed almost an hour because Clarence's back was giving him trouble. That didn't stop him from going on. The Scottrade Center was well below capacity, but those who were there were into it for all 3+ hours. I loved the request signs. He just kept going back to the pile and pulling out a sign and the crowd went crazy. The highlight for me was when he pulled out a sign requesting Point Break, which is a song I'm not crazy about. Then he turned the sign over and showed that it said "Hiding on the Backstreets." Hearing the E Street Band play Backstreets live,to me is like hearing U2 do Streets. Here is link to the show. I haven't heard it yet, but the quality is supposed to be very good. Please login or register to view this link
